It was an absolute pleasure and honour to chair, alongside Luca Magri, the 17th ERCOFTAC SIG33 Workshop “Progress in Flow Instability, Transition and Control” in Vigo, Spain. The workshop brought together researchers working on the stability, transition, and control of complex flows, with talks spanning both fundamental theory and applications. Thanks to ERCOFTAC and CoSeC for their support in making the event possible, and to all participants for the stimulating discussions throughout the workshop.
